Labelling & Ecodesign

labelling-slider-2

Established in 2004, the EnR Labelling and Ecodesign Working Group aims to enhance the understanding and roles of its members and other European actors on renewable energy issues through information sharing and collaboration and by acting as a bridge between national activities and those of the European Community and other relevant international bodies. It achieves this aim by:

  • Closely following (new) developments of the European Commission and Parliament regarding the Energy Label, Ecodesign, and other labels and minimum efficiency standards in Europe
  • Stimulating the development and implementation of labelling systems and minimum efficiency standards in order to contribute resource savings, increased security of supply and reduced emissions of greenhouse gases
  • Exchanging information on national and international policies, programmes, joint projects and experiences
  • Collaborating with other networks and European actors, including the European Commission
