The 8th European Conference on Behaviour Change and Energy Efficiency, BEHAVE 2025, will take place on 11th and 12th December 2025 in Paris, France, under the theme “From energy efficiency to sufficiency: the need for a change in lifestyles to ensure a just transition to carbon neutrality”.
Irina Uzun-Dupouey from ADEME, the French Agency for Ecological Transition, has the overall lead in organising the conference in her role as Member of the Steering Committee of the European Energy Network (EnR).
“This conference edition will broaden its scope from energy efficiency to sufficiency under all its forms, highlighting the importance of going beyond behaviour change – to lifestyles change, if we want to ensure a just transition to carbon neutrality”.
During this 2-day event, held in English, as per the BEHAVE tradition, two different worlds – the academics/social scientists on the one hand, and policymakers and industry on the other, will come together to continue a dialogue and learn from each other. The conference is open to all those operating in Europe and beyond with an interest in behaviour/lifestyle change in the energy transition. A call for abstracts will be launched and the programme will be based on the abstract submissions peer-reviewed and approved by the Scientific Committee.
For the eighth edition, the BEHAVE conference offers yet another amazing opportunity to network with the leading experts in the field and to broaden your knowledge on these important topics.
More information on the event (venue, detailed programme) will be provided in due time.
